Why this plate earns its place
The 311 mm plate is the presentation format of the Raku range — larger than a main-plate base, smaller than a full charger, built for single-serve plating and appetizer courses. The triangular geometry is intentional: three-point contact means the eye reads the plate as sculptural, the corners give plating zones for garnish or sauce, and the angle creates visual movement that round plates can't match. Churchill porcelain is vitrified to survive commercial dishwashing and normal kitchen impact; the black glaze hides minor wear and reads clean across hundreds of cycles.
For tasting-menu restaurants and fine-dining appetizers, the 311 mm is the frame — the geometry forces plating intention and rewards precision. The shallow pitch stacks safely even at height; transport is stable because corners don't overhang. The pack contains 6 plates rather than 12, which suits smaller operations or restaurants that want a single presentation plate for signature courses without committing warehouse space.
