Why this plate earns its place
The 210mm diameter is designed for courses that aren't mains — starters, sides, desserts, cheese plates. At this size, bone china's density pays a different dividend: it doesn't feel flimsy like cheaper ceramics do when lightly loaded. A warm course or cold plate held by a diner registers solidity; that matters when the experience is stretched across five or six courses.
Bone china handles temperature range better than most alternatives. A cold starter plate won't absorb heat shock when cleared for a warm main; a warm dessert plate won't crack if refrigerated beforehand. The glaze cures hard and doesn't chip easily — important when these smaller plates shift faster through service and stack more densely than larger ones.
Twelve per pack covers most starter/dessert sequences in one service, with spares for wash. Freezer-safe and dishwasher-safe at 65 °C.
