Why this plate earns its place
A smaller coupe plate suited to starters, desserts, or side courses. At 205 mm, it's large enough for a proper appetiser plating—fish course, soup, or cheese—but compact enough to keep the table proportioned and the dishwasher efficient.
The reactive aubergine glaze gives each plate subtle variation, and the stoneware base is thermal-retentive, useful for holding a warm starter at the table. The shallow, curved rim lets plating run to the edge without risk of overhang.
Stoneware is forgiving in high-volume dishwashing and more durable than porcelain when stacked. The glaze is fired in, so it resists chipping. Use for starters, sweets, sides, or cheese courses.
