Why this plate earns its place
A super-vitrified ceramic plate designed for puddings, desserts and appetisers in high-turnover venues. The 210 mm diameter is the working size for single-portion service — practical enough to carry a generous helping of affogato or crème brûlée, delicate enough that plating looks considered. The reactive glaze creates natural colour variation across each plate, lifting a simple dessert without fussiness.
The organic shape — slightly irregular edges rather than a perfect circle — softens the overall presentation. Stacks efficiently in pass-through storage and fits standard plate racks without clustering. Super-vitrified ceramic is fired at higher temperatures than standard crockery, giving it chip resistance through sustained service. Glaze-to-clay bond is very strong, so pattern and colour hold through repeated commercial dishwasher cycles at +60 °C.
This plate sits between the smaller side plates and the larger dinner service, making it the reliable choice for restaurants plating desserts after main course clearing, or for cafés serving cakes and small plates.
