Why this plate earns its place
These 210 x 210mm square plates are sized for starter and dessert presentation without losing the Igneous character. Inspired by hand-thrown pottery, Churchill's design combines ribbed embossment, an exposed-looking base and artisanal glazing, giving the brown finish texture and depth that can make a smaller course feel considered.
The specification lists ceramic, while the manufacturer describes high-quality vitrified stoneware engineered for daily commercial use. Strong thermal shock resistance is intended to help reduce breakages, while good heat retention helps food stay at serving temperature for longer. The stoneware is also described as resistant to scratches and wear.
