Why this vacuum jug earns its place
The 1.5-litre jug sits between solo catering (the 1-litre) and large-table service (the 2-litre). At 250mm tall and 145mm diameter, it's the workhorse size for most venues—light enough to handle continuously between tables, large enough to pour for two or three cover at once. The double-wall stainless-steel body and sealed hinged lid keep hot liquid at service temperature for four to five hours; in a standard dining room, boiling water will still pour at 50°C or above after a morning's service.
Chrome-plated collar and commercial-grade hinge mean it survives daily fill-and-pour routines without degrading. Unlike ceramic alternatives, there's no thermal shock if you refill with boiling water over a warm base. The polished finish takes fingerprints (this is brushed stainless, not mirror polish), but that's unavoidable and typical of commercial serving ware at this price point.
