Why this cup earns its place
An 8oz (230ml) teacup in fine china with added alumina to strengthen the rim and deepen the whiteness. The geometric embossment gives it a contemporary look that works in any setting, from casual café to hotel breakfast room. At 100mm diameter and 60mm height, it feels substantial in the hand when full.
Fine china cups cool slightly slower than stoneware—hold the heat long enough for a full service without requiring a warmers shelf in between. The handle is sized for adult fingers with a full cup; pour rate through the rim is controlled, so tea does not slop across the saucer. Packed 12 to a case, they stack and store without fuss, and they survive commercial dishwasher cycles indefinitely if you are not stacking too tight in the rack.
The rim is where wear shows first in a busy kitchen. The added alumina in this body does not make it unbreakable, but it does delay the dulling and crazing that comes with months of service.
