Why this cup earns its place
An 85 ml espresso cup is the standard size for a double shot with room for crema. Small capacity means fast heat retention in the cup, which matters when espresso sits for even a few seconds before service. Porcelain body keeps the temperature longer than thin ceramic, and the glaze doesn't absorb oil residue or water stains.
The 50 mm height and 70 mm width mean these cups nest inside one another without instability, saving space in a busy café or function suite. Dishwasher cycles at 65°C don't damage porcelain or fade the ash glaze.
