Why this bowl earns its place
Give soups, salads, pastas and single servings a more considered presentation with these William Edwards Burnished Gold coupe bowls. Produced in England, each round bowl combines a brilliant white bone-china finish with hand-burnished 24-carat gold edging, adding a restrained decorative line around the food.
At 145mm in diameter with a 350ml capacity, the bowls are sized for individual portions and lighter courses. The bone china contains 47% bone ash, which the manufacturer says strengthens the structure while enhancing the translucency and clarity of the glaze. That gives the bowls a fine appearance without leaving durability out of the picture.
The gold edging is strategically positioned to resist wear, while the scratch-resistant glaze helps protect the surface. The bowls are stackable for practical storage and dishwasher safe for service cleanup. Handwashing is recommended when preserving the gold rim is the priority.
