Why this bowl earns its place
A small, pressed-curved bowl in solid vitrified china. At 4 cl, it holds an amuse-bouche, a measured dip, or a portion of pickled vegetables — enough to make a visual statement without overshadowing the main plate. The black glaze absorbs light and makes pale foods read sharper: white foam, a quenelle of purée, thin-cut vegetables.
Vitrified china survives intensive washing. The 8.5 cm width sits comfortably on a plate rim or as a standalone in a bread-and-butter position. The curved shape is deliberate: it catches the eye without the formality of a full bowl.
