Why this bowl earns its place
A 240ml deep bowl in super vitrified ceramic, part of the Stonecast hand-decorated range in barley white with a contrasting rim. Hand-decorated character means each bowl differs subtly, adding visual interest without pattern wear. The depth is right for soups, sauces, or individual portion bowls in plated or family-style service, and the round shape nests cleanly for storage and washing.
At 240ml, one bowl holds a modest soup portion, a sauce serving, or a starter salad — the working size in most commercial kitchens. The depth gives you space to work with hot liquids or dressing without spilling at the line or table. Super vitrified ceramic does not absorb liquid; hot or cold food holds its temperature reasonably well for the duration of service.
These are stackable, which matters for storage density and return from a passthrough wash. Round shape and flat bottom mean they nest without rims catching. Fully dishwasher and microwave safe; the barley white finish hides water spotting better than gloss white, important when bowls move through tight wash cycles multiple times daily. High-temperature wash removes stains from coloured foods without fading the glaze.
