Why this bowl earns its place
The Churchill Lyra Blue Opal bowl gives larger portions, shared sides and presentation dishes a clear focal point. Its 250mm diameter and 0.83-litre capacity provide useful room for generous servings, while the blue starburst design adds character around the food.
The bowl uses Churchill's tough Super Vitrified ceramic body. According to the manufacturer, the body holds heat well and does not absorb moisture, with resistance to thermal shock and breakage. The high-performance ecoglaze helps protect against stains and metal marks, and the Lyra collection meets the BS4034 quality standard.
For day-to-day service, the bowl is stackable and dishwasher safe, with 12 pieces in the pack. Churchill also describes the Lyra collection as microwave safe, giving kitchens flexibility when dishes need to be heated before serving.
