Why this hand dryer earns its place
The Jantex JB022 produces an air speed of up to 90m/s, drying hands in around 25 seconds. Operation is touch-free, so there's no button or lever for the next user to contact after a wet hand has been on it.
The body is stainless steel in a black finish, built to stand up to high-traffic washroom use, and carries an IPX4 rating so splashes from any direction don't cause a problem. A temperature sensor manages the heating element automatically, cutting heat once the surrounding air is above 25°C, so the unit isn't running heat it doesn't need.
The casing measures 138 x 247 x 228mm, so it sits compactly on a washroom wall without projecting too far into the room. At 3.7kg gross weight, it runs on a 220-240V supply and carries a 1-year warranty.
