Why this pass through dishwasher earns its place
FT542 is the PT-XL Energy+ pass-through dishwasher variant with a water softener in the product name. Winterhalter's source wording says the machine is designed to deliver wash results while saving energy, with the ability to be set up around site conditions, what is being washed and local water conditions.
The installed footprint needs proper planning: the listed external size is 2415mm high, 735mm wide and 750mm deep, and the gross weight is 174kg. The build is stainless steel in a silver finish, so the visible and working surfaces match what most commercial kitchens expect from a pass-through dishwasher.
FT542 is also a three-phase machine and includes a drain pump, both of which should be checked against the wash-up area's services before ordering. The manufacturer also points to features that reduce running costs and improve carbon footprint without compromising results.
