Why this basket earns its place
This is a glasswashing basket insert. It drops into a 400 mm glasswashing basket and holds the glasses at an angle instead of standing them straight up, which Classeq state improves the wash result. Nothing about the machine or the cycle changes — only the position the glass is washed in.
The problem it solves is water sitting where the rinse cannot get at it. A glass stood upright collects water in the base, and a spray arm working from below and above cannot clear a pool it is spraying into; the glass leaves the machine wet with the water it collected, and that dries into the marks that get polished off by hand later. On the tilt, water runs out of the glass as the cycle runs, and the spray gets properly inside the bowl rather than glancing off the rim. The angle also settles the glass in the rack, so lighter and taller glassware moves around less under the spray.
Construction is moulded plastic in grey, listed at 400 × 200 mm, and the insert is a drop-in item — in for a run of glasses, out again when the 400 mm basket is needed for something else. A 400 mm basket is the undercounter size, so this is aimed at the wash-up point behind a bar or in a service area rather than a full pot-wash line.
