Why this basket earns its place
The ACB155 is a 400 mm square open basket with 180 mm sides — no dividers, no fixed cells. Glasses go in as they come back, tumblers next to stems, and the load is decided by what is on the tray rather than by a moulded layout. Four hundred millimetres square is the rack format undercounter glasswashers are built around, which makes this the everyday basket in a wash-up rather than a function-scale one.
Open construction is what makes it work in a cycle: water, detergent and rinse reach the full height of each glass and drain straight back out, with nothing trapped in a base to carry over to the next load. Grey moulded plastic is the trade default here because it survives repeated hot cycles without corroding and will not chip a rim on loading. Loaded, a 400 mm basket is still a comfortable one-person lift with a hand each side, so the same basket that goes through the machine is the one that carries the glasses back to the bar.
