Why this glassware rack earns its place
DW553 is a Cambro 16-compartment glassware rack for tall, wider glassware up to a stated 298mm maximum height. The 500 x 500mm base gives it the same square warewashing footprint as the rest of this Camrack format, while the 349mm overall height provides the extra clearance for high glass lines.
Sixteen compartments put fewer glasses in each rack than denser layouts, giving more room per glass when diameter matters as much as height. That makes DW553 the better style of rack for larger glassware that should be kept separated during washing, transport and storage.
The rack is made from polypropylene, with Cambro stating resistance to high temperatures up to 93°C and to cleaning chemicals. The listed gross weight is 6.43kg, reflecting the taller 349mm format and heavier-duty handling expected of a large glassware rack.
