Why this commercial glasswasher earns its place
The SXD40A D adds a break tank (holding tank) to the pump-drain system. Instead of continuous drainage, waste water collects in the tank and drains out in controlled batches as the tank fills. This setup suits venues with unusual plumbing: spaces where the machine might be moved occasionally, where waste plumbing needs to be disconnected, or where continuous pump drainage would be awkward. The break tank acts as a buffer—it holds water until it's full, then the pump empties it. No guesswork, no manual emptying, just reliable waste handling that works with difficult layouts.
The rest of the machine is standard 400×400: fast 2 or 3-minute cycles, peristaltic auto-dosing for exact chemical control, insulated boiler, low-water design, and three baskets. The break tank adds a layer of flexibility for installation and future changes—if plumbing routes shift or the machine is relocated, the tank-based system adapts more easily than a direct pump line.
Ideal for kitchens where waste routing is fixed and inflexible, or where venue layout is semi-permanent (schools, care homes, or institutional kitchens). The pump is durable, the tank is maintenance-free, and the savings come from not needing custom plumbing.
