Why this air steriliser earns its place
The HGX-T-20-O is a HyGenikx air steriliser for office areas and other occupied spaces where normal cleaning alone cannot reach every surface. The manufacturer description states that it combines three technologies to sterilise air and surfaces, targeting bacteria, moulds and viruses while supporting the regular cleaning schedule.
Installation is deliberately simple: the compact wall-mounted unit is supplied for plug-in use, so it can be fitted where a suitable standard socket is available. At 400 x 135 x 110mm and 1.4kg gross weight, it is a small wall unit rather than a floor-standing purifier, with a silver finish for front-of-house or office settings.
Maintenance is signposted by the unit itself. A flashing LED gives seven days' notice before the internal lamp and battery need replacing; after 12 months an alarm reminds the user, and after 12 months and 15 days the alarm sounds every 15 minutes until the lamp has been replaced. FP023 carries a 1 year parts and labour warranty.
