Why this air steriliser earns its place
The HGX-T-05-O is a HyGenikx air steriliser for office areas and other occupied spaces where hygiene needs to reach beyond surfaces that are easy to wipe. HyGenikx describes the unit as combining three technologies to sterilise air and surfaces, targeting bacteria, moulds and viruses while amplifying the normal cleaning schedule.
The compact wall-mounted unit measures 400 x 135 x 110mm and has a 1.4kg gross weight, so it is planned like a small wall appliance rather than a portable floor unit. It comes in a silver finish and is supplied for plug-in use, which makes socket access and wall position the main installation checks.
Maintenance reminders are part of the manufacturer description. A flashing LED warns seven days before the internal lamp and battery need replacing; after 12 months an alarm regularly reminds the user, and after 12 months and 15 days it sounds every 15 minutes until the lamp has been replaced. FP021 carries a 1 year parts and labour warranty.
