Why this mop head earns its place
The SYR Syntex F948 is the yellow version of Scot Young's Kentucky mop head, built from pre-shrunk, rot-free long-life fibre. The catalogue lists it at 483mm wide by 737mm long, and the manufacturer description gives a 735mm maximum open spread with a 14in/355mm by 19in/480mm head size.
A built-in scourer gives the head extra bite on stuck-on floor marks, so staff have more than plain yarn available during a normal mop-down. The pre-shrunk fibre is supplied ready-sized, which helps when replacing heads in a colour-coded cleaning setup because the dimensions are clear before it goes into service.
Yellow is listed as both the colour and colour code, making F948 easy to separate from blue, red or other heads in the cleaning store. The 0.341kg gross weight keeps it straightforward to stock in multiples for shift changes or drying rotation.
