Why this mop head earns its place
The SYR Kentucky Mop Head Yellow L887 is a cotton Kentucky mop head with a yellow colour-coded holder and supplier-stated 406mm width by 919mm length. The manufacturer also lists a 36-inch (915mm) open spread, with 16-inch (405mm) length and 15-inch (380mm) width in its source description, so it gives a broad floor contact area for routine mopping.
The cotton fibre is built for fast pick-up of dirt, grease and oil, which is the useful bit in a working kitchen: it gives staff a mop head for spill response, end-of-shift wash-downs and general back-of-house floor cleaning. The stay-flat end helps the head sit against the floor rather than bunching up as it moves.
The yellow colour code makes it easier to keep this head assigned to one area or task across shifts. Use the same colour logic across mop heads, holders and cleaning chemicals so staff can identify the right tool quickly and avoid moving cleaning equipment between zones.
