Why this recycling bin earns its place
CX970 is the 87-litre landfill version of Rubbermaid's Configure recycling bin, with a black label for the general-waste stream. It measures 489mm wide, 495mm deep and 975mm high, with a 31.75kg gross weight.
That capacity is useful where residual waste is a steady stream but floor space still matters. The rectangular grey body keeps the footprint predictable in a bin row, reception waste point or back-of-house corridor.
Rubbermaid specifies heavy-gauge galvanised steel with a powder-coated finish, designed to withstand frequent daily use while maintaining an upmarket appearance. That makes CX970 suitable for hotels, shopping centres, offices, airports and other high-traffic facilities where waste points are not always hidden from customers.
