Why this recycling bin earns its place
CX971 is the 125-litre landfill version of Rubbermaid's Configure recycling bin, marked with a black label for the general-waste stream. It gives residual waste a substantial 125-litre capacity in a unit 610mm wide, 495mm deep and 975mm high, with a 34.92kg gross weight.
The construction is the main reason to specify CX971 for a managed facility. Rubbermaid specifies heavy-gauge galvanised steel with a powder-coated finish, engineered for durability while keeping the upmarket appearance expected in hotels, offices, airports, shopping centres and other busy facilities.
For a site that separates waste streams, the landfill bin still has to stay tidy under pressure. CX971 gives that residual stream 125 litres of capacity in a rectangular grey steel unit, so it works as part of a visible waste station rather than looking like an afterthought.
