Why this sanitary bin earns its place
The Jantex T640 is a pedal-operated sanitary bin built for hands-free washroom disposal. Stepping on the pedal opens the lid, so users do not need to touch the bin body during normal use.
The body is white ABS plastic in a rectangular slimline shape: 580mm high, 190mm wide and 365mm deep, with a supplier-stated gross weight of 1.8kg. Its wipe-clean surface lets cleaning staff sanitise the outside as part of a normal washroom round rather than treating it as a specialist job.
At 18 litres, the T640 gives a defined sanitary-waste capacity without taking up the floor space of a bulky refuse bin. The narrow 190mm width is the practical detail here, helping it sit in cubicles and washroom corners where a wider bin would get in the way.
