Why this pedal bin earns its place
The Jantex GH637 opens by foot, not by hand. That's the point of a pedal bin in a working kitchen or washroom: staff with full hands, gloves on, or reasons to avoid a shared touch point can dispose of waste without lifting the lid — cutting a cross-contamination point out of the routine.
Inside the rim, hooks hold the bin bag in place, so the liner doesn't slip or bunch down every time something is dropped in. The lid itself is tight-fitting, helping minimise odours between empties without staff having to touch the lid by hand.
At 45 litres and 600mm high by 405mm wide by 395mm deep, it's built for tighter footprints — a prep corner, a washroom, a cleaning store — rather than a high-volume waste point. The beige polypropylene body has a 3.75kg gross weight, making it the lightest and most compact of this three-size Jantex range.
