Why this lid earns its place
The DX968 is a grey polypropylene lid made for Jantex 60/80-litre slim bins. It gives the bin a covered top while keeping access straightforward, with supplier-stated dimensions of 117(H) x 523(W) x 332(D)mm.
Its hinged doors swing open when waste is pushed through and return to a closed position afterwards, sealing over the bin between visits. That contains odours and keeps hands off the lid itself when disposing of waste, cutting a common cross-contamination point on a busy run.
At 1.52kg gross weight, the lid is substantial enough for daily use while still being manageable when bins are emptied or cleaned. The grey colour code gives a clear visual difference from other lid colours in a sorted waste area.
