Why this lid earns its place
DX179 is the black lid for Jantex 60/80-litre slim bins. The refreshed specification lists a rectangular polypropylene build, 117 x 523 x 332mm external dimensions and a 1.52kg gross weight, so it can be checked against the bin body before ordering.
The hinged doors allow full access to the bin, then return to a closed position after use. That keeps the waste covered between deposits, helping reduce odours and keeping unsightly waste out of view in kitchens, washrooms and front-of-house waste points.
Because staff can drop waste through the doors without lifting the lid by hand, DX179 also helps reduce touch points around the bin. The polypropylene construction suits a commercial cleaning routine and matches the practical, wipe-clean role of the slim-bin range.
