Why this ice cube machine earns its place
The TEFCOLD TC26 is a self-contained ice maker that makes and stores ice on the same footprint, built for sites that need a steady supply of cubed ice without a separate bin. It produces 26kg of ice in 24 hours and holds 8kg in its own storage bin, with a spray system that forms individual clear ice cubes measuring approximately 31 × 35 × 31mm.
The machine runs a low-energy air-cooled system on R290 refrigerant, drawing 350W from a standard 13A supply at a running cost of about £539 a year at 25p/kWh. A built-in magnetic water pump runs silently to feed the spray system, and a waste water drain pump clears used water safely rather than relying on a gravity outlet. The storage bin uses Ag+ antimicrobial surfaces that stay easy to keep clean between ice-making cycles.
Construction is high quality catering-grade 304 stainless steel, standing on 4 legs with adjustable feet to level the machine on an uneven floor, and a scoop is included for serving straight from the bin. The unit weighs 39kg. Servicing and parts support are available through Craven Cooling's aftercare team.
