Why this ice machine earns its place
The Manitowoc Indigo NXT iT1200 HW751 is the entry point into this set of very high-output Indigo NXT packages. It is still a substantial half-dice ice machine supplied with a D970 storage bin, but it makes sense where the larger iT1500 or iT1900 would be more machine than the site can use.
For a busy operator, the important thing is control as much as capacity. The iT1200 uses advanced diagnostics to optimise the ice-making process, with intelligent 24-hour preventative maintenance and feedback. The easy-touch display keeps the machine status visible and gives access to cleaning guidance, asset information and a startup wizard, so the machine is less of a black box for shift teams.
Cleaning access is well handled. Manitowoc lists a hinged front door that swings out, plus removable food-zone parts including the water trough, distribution tube, curtain and sensing probes. That gives staff and service engineers a clearer route into the areas that matter most for hygiene and reliable ice quality.
