The Ice-O-Matic CIM0835GA is the one to look at when the cube itself matters. Rather than producing standard ice for general use, it is designed around Grande Cube ice: larger cubes made to look better in the glass and melt more slowly than traditional ice maker ice.
That makes it a strong fit for restaurants, clubs, bars and hotels where premium drinks are part of the offer. The manufacturer describes the Grande Cube as almost twice the size of traditional ice maker ice, so the machine is as much about presentation and drink quality as it is about volume.
It still has the production muscle expected from an Ice-O-Matic Elevation Series modular unit. The package includes the B55 storage bin, giving busy services a deep reserve of large-format ice ready for the bar.
