Why this ice machine earns its place
The Hoshizaki IM-45PE is built for sites that need proper cube ice on tap, not a back-up supply that disappears halfway through service. Its manufacturer-listed daily output and 18 kg storage bin give bars, restaurants and hotel service areas a useful reserve for busy drinks trade.
The ice itself is the point: large cubes made in a closed spray system, with each cycle using fresh water. That design is there to protect drink flavour and presentation, producing strong, long-lasting cubes that melt more slowly than poor-quality ice and look right in the glass.
Hoshizaki has also paid attention to the everyday jobs around the machine. Foam-injected polyurethane insulation helps preserve stored ice, the removable door gasket helps keep heat and contaminants away from the bin, and the easy-clean air filter gives staff a routine maintenance task they can actually keep on top of.
