Product summary

Product description

Self-contained icemakers incorporate an ice-production system and ice storage bin into one machine. The smallest machine of the range produces 30kg/24hrs and stores up to 10kg, while the largest produces up to 140kg/24hrs and stores up to 65kg.
Qube Ice – Ice cubes that maintain high quality and perfect transparency. Provides optimal control over dilution, melting during shaking, and stability. Suitable for: cocktails, nightclubs, restaurants and hotels. Drain pump

The DC DCQ49-25A D is a self-contained ice cube machine with a factory-fitted drain pump, producing clear, slow-melting Qube ice for precise dilution control in cocktails and premium spirits service — ideal where a gravity fall to waste isn’t possible.

THE WORKING VIEW

Why this ice cube machine earns its place

The DC DCQ49-25A D is the drain-pump variant of the DCQ49-25A: same self-contained format, same clear Qube ice, same 30 kg to 140 kg daily production range with 10 kg to 65 kg of onboard storage. The difference is a factory-fitted drain pump that lifts condensate and meltwater to a standpipe or waste connection up to several metres away — no gravity fall required.

That flexibility matters in older buildings, basements, island bars and retrofit sites where the drain run can't drop. The pump is integrated at build, not retrofitted, so there's no extra box on the wall, no separate power supply, no additional leak point. Installation stays simple: one water inlet, one pumped drain outlet, one electrical connection.

The evaporator forms solid, square Qube ice — transparent, dense and dimensionally consistent. That geometry gives the bartender predictable dilution on stirred drinks, shaken cocktails and premium pours over a single cube. The bin sits directly under the evaporator so ice drops into reserve the moment it releases: no transfer, no shovel, no handling risk.

Questions, answered straight

The range spans 30 kg to 140 kg per 24 hours depending on the specific model in the series. Check the model plate or ask our team for the exact figure on this SKU.

Storage capacity across the range runs from 10 kg up to 65 kg. The bin sits directly under the evaporator so ice is ready the moment it's made.

Qube ice is formed for dimensional consistency and optical clarity. Each cube melts evenly, giving the bartender predictable dilution — critical for balanced cocktails and premium pours.

Yes — the 'D' suffix means a factory-fitted drain pump is built in. It lifts condensate and meltwater to a standpipe or waste connection where a gravity fall isn't achievable.

A standard ¾" BSP mains water connection and a pumped drain outlet (the pump handles the lift). 13 A supply on smaller units; larger models may need a dedicated circuit — check the rating plate.
