Why this ice cube machine earns its place
The DC DC300A is a modular ice cube system built for venues where ice demand is serious and sustained — nightclubs, busy pubs, large restaurants, hotels, healthcare and education catering, and supermarket fresh food counters. Unlike self-contained units where the maker and bin share a footprint, a modular system separates the ice-making head from the storage bin. That means you can match production capacity (from 90 kg to 1,000 kg per 24 hours) to a bin sized for your peak draw (100 kg to 350 kg), rather than compromising on one or the other.
The ice itself is classic solid cube — crystalline, dense, and slow-melting. It chills a drink fast and holds its shape through a long serve, which matters when you're moving volume at a busy bar or keeping a salad bar crisp through service. The system runs on R290 (natural propane), a hydrocarbon refrigerant with near-zero global warming potential and zero ozone depletion potential. That means it's compliant with current F-gas regulation and insulated from future phase-down schedules.
Modular systems also simplify servicing: the production head can be accessed for maintenance without disturbing the ice bin, and the separation makes it easier to site the condensing unit where heat and noise are less of an issue. For high-throughput sites — think nightclub ice wells, hotel breakfast service, or a supermarket fish counter — this is the architecture that scales.
