Why this ice cube machine earns its place
The DC DC25-6A D is the most compact self-contained ice cube machine in the DC range — built for the tightest bar backs, the smallest café counters, and the pop-up sites where every centimetre counts. Its stainless-steel cabinet takes the knocks and condensation of a working service area, while the insulated ABS storage bin keeps ice cold and clean between draws. The evaporator plates are treated to resist limescale, stretching the interval between descales and keeping cube formation predictable over time.
The cubes come out crystalline and dense — the kind that chill a drink fast and melt slow enough to hold a highball or an iced Americano through service. It runs on R290 (natural propane), a hydrocarbon refrigerant with near-zero GWP, so it's F-gas compliant now and won't need a retrofit later. A built-in self-cleaning cycle cuts engineer time on routine service visits, and the integrated drain pump means you aren't tethered to a floor drain — the unit can pump waste water up and away to a convenient outlet, giving you more flexibility on siting.
Because it's self-contained — maker and bin in one footprint — installation is simple: power, water in, drain out (pumped). The 25 kg daily output and 6 kg bin capacity suit sites where peak demand is concentrated but the overall volume is moderate: a neighbourhood cocktail bar, a specialty coffee shop with a cold brew programme, or a small restaurant doing weekend brunch. It's a focused, no-fuss unit that does one thing well, with the added flexibility of pumped drainage.
