Why this slush machine earns its place
The Polar U-Series UA046 is a serious slush counter for operators who want choice, theatre and margin from one machine. With 36 litre listed capacity across three tanks, it can present three flavours at once, hold plenty of prepared mix for spikes in demand, and keep the drinks offer visible where customers can see it.
Its big advantage is flexibility. The manufacturer states that it can make slush from drinks with as little as five percent sugar content, compared with the much higher sugar levels many traditional slush machines require. It can also be used for alcoholic slush drinks up to twenty percent ABV, fresh juice slush and off-the-shelf soft drinks such as cola, lemonade or orangeade.
Control is built into the offer rather than hidden away. Staff can adjust temperature, speed and LED tank colour, so the machine can be used for chilled drinks as well as slush, and the display can be tuned to suit the flavour line-up or venue style.
