Why this water filter earns its place
The BRITA Purity C300 Quell ST is a replacement cartridge for sites already using the BRITA Purity C filter-head platform. It is the cartridge only, so the key buying check is compatibility: it requires the Purity C Filter Head, item code CU288.
BRITA's purpose here is straightforward: improve the water before it reaches the drink, food or machine. The cartridge uses advanced filtration technology to remove many impurities that can impair taste and quality. The manufacturer names calcium, magnesium, lead and copper among those impurities.
That filtration also supports the equipment behind the counter. BRITA states that filtered water helps prevent limescale build-up, which can damage vital kitchen appliances. In coffee service, hot drinks and water-fed equipment, that protection is part of the operating routine, not a nice extra.
