The Nuova Simonelli Appia Compact HX405 is built for the awkward brief many good coffee sites face: professional espresso quality, but with limited counter space. Made in Italy by Simonelli's team, the Appia Life Compact keeps the focus on reliable, durable and consistent service in a smaller format.
Although compact, it still carries the core Appia working features. Built-in volumetric dosing helps staff repeat recipes cleanly, while push and pull levers make the machine easier to use through a long shift. The Soft Infusion System gently pre-wets the coffee cake before extraction, helping create an even extraction and better flavour from the coffee.
Milk service is a particular strength of this version. The HX405 includes two steam arms, with an automatic steam wand on one side. Nuova Simonelli's Easycrem technology is designed to deliver barista-quality milk at the push of a button, which is useful where different staff members need to texture milk consistently without slowing the queue.
