Why this espresso coffee machine earns its place
The Fracino Cherub CHE1 GJ472 is made for the awkward but common coffee brief: proper espresso, limited space and no plumbed water supply. It is a compact hand-fill machine, so it can go into offices, small outlets and service points where installing a mains-fed commercial machine would be disproportionate.
Inside, the Cherub has the kind of build language Fracino is known for. The manufacturer specifies a high-quality copper boiler heated by a multiple-looped element, a brass-bodied group with stainless steel shower plate, solenoid valve and high-pressure pump, plus separate brass safety valves for water and steam pressure.
The control and protection systems are equally important. The machine uses an automatic water level system with probe, electronic control unit and solenoid valve, along with power shut-off protection if the boiler water level drops. Pressure is managed by a double-contact pressure switch, with a pressure gauge and electronic water control for the operator.
