Why this kettle earns its place
The Smeg Mini Kettle in pastel blue is built for the places where a full-size kettle is simply too much: a hotel bedroom, bed and breakfast room, small office, home-office corner, caravan, motorhome or compact hospitality space where the job is two or three hot drinks, not a queue of covers. Its 800ml capacity gives around three cups per fill, so staff and guests can boil closer to what they actually need.
That smaller capacity gives the kettle its point: it is for quick, everyday hot-water use without encouraging overfilling. Smeg's double-walled casing is the practical detail here: the internal stainless steel helps maintain water temperature for longer, while the outside wall remains colder to the touch.
The handling is deliberately simple. A 360 degree swivel base makes it easy to lift and return from either direction, the concealed heating element keeps the inside cleaner-looking, and the water level indicator helps users fill accurately. Auto switch-off at 100 degrees C, anti-slip feet and the integrated 1m cord all suit rooms where the kettle may be used by many different people.
