Why this coffee grinder earns its place
The Santos Barista Coffee Grinder 01 is not trying to be a disposable counter gadget. It is the original Santos coffee grinder from 1954, built around a horizontal axis and direct dispensing, so freshly ground coffee goes straight where the barista needs it.
Its strength is range. The stepless adjustment button lets the operator move from extra fine to extra coarse, covering Turkish coffee, espresso, filter and French press without being trapped by fixed grind steps. For venues that sell more than one style of coffee, that gives the grinder a useful amount of flexibility.
The machine is built around a powerful commercial induction motor and horizontal-axis grinding discs with a feeding screw. Santos lists an average output of 14kg per hour, so it is not just for occasional grinding at the edge of service; it is intended for efficient professional use.
