Why this food warmer earns its place
The Victor warmer sits between a serving counter and the kitchen: it takes hot food from prep and holds it at service temperature without drying it out or browning it further. The quartz heat lamps are the key—they deliver gentle, even radiant warmth rather than direct contact heat, so chips stay crispy, meat stays moist and plated meals don't overcook while they're waiting.
Build is commercial: solid metal base, 520 mm wide footprint, 1.1 metres tall. It's designed to stand beside a pass or at the edge of a carvery counter where it's within reach of service staff but not in the way of the main prep line. The gastronorm compatibility is practical—standard commercial trays slide straight underneath, so there's no fumbling with bespoke shelving or adapters. Food sits under the lamps at the height that's comfortable to reach.
Power is 2kW from a single-phase 220–240V connection. That's enough to keep multiple trays warm without tripping the electrics, but it's not so demanding that it needs special installation. The 300W quartz lamps are the workhorse; they warm consistently and can be adjusted or replaced if needed. At 34 kg, it's solid but still mobile if you need to shift it between services.
