Why this hot plate earns its place
The Designline hotplate is a premium self-service heated display built for maximum food visibility and performance. Its elliptical curved profile catches the eye on any servery counter, and the transparent ceran glass surface lets customers see exactly what's in each tray without obstruction. Five 1/1 gastronorm containers fit the heated well—enough for a full product rotation without frequent restocking.
Heat is delivered by infrared quartz lamps mounted above and modular heater mats underneath, ensuring even temperature across the display. Base heat and surface heat are independently adjustable, and the unit maintains a factory-set 85 °C core food temperature to meet food safety standards. The digital temperature display and dimmer switches sit at eye level on the operator side, giving staff full control without reaching over the counter or breaking the thermal seal. Temperature locks in place once set, preventing unwanted drift during service.
The ceran glass surface is built for commercial wear: it wipes clean easily and resists the spatter and residue that builds up during service—particularly useful when dealing with pastry products or grease. The curved, toughened glass sneeze screen spans the customer-facing side, protecting the display from contaminants while maintaining sightlines. The unit is drop-in: it nestles into a pre-formed countertop cutout and arrives with a lifting kit for installation. It runs 24 hours continuously. A concealed control box and 2 m flexible conduit are supplied for hard-wiring to a 16 A 3.3 kW supply.
