Why this heated display earns its place
The Lincat Seal 500 is purpose-built for venues where counter space is precious and foot-traffic is high. At 1000 mm wide but only 500 mm deep, it sits neatly on a bakery counter, café bar, or convenience-store service desk, holding 156 litres of food at visible, ready-to-sell condition. The shallow footprint is key—you're not asking customers to reach far, and you're not consuming kitchen real estate that you don't have.
This is a working unit. It maintains a minimum holding temperature of 72°C, keeping ready-to-eat food at food-safe temperature consistently. The 500 mm height makes display items clearly visible to customers without being so tall it blocks sight-lines to staff or the till. Built entirely in stainless steel, it's designed for daily cleaning and tough ambient conditions—bakeries, fish shops, and hot-food counters where heat, humidity, and throughput are all high. The manufacturer specifies it delivers reliable performance even in ambient conditions of up to 32°C and 70% relative humidity, which matters if your counter is near a window, door, or air-con vent in summer.
The heat output is straightforward: 2020 W running on standard single-phase 230V supply via plug. That's enough to hold a full load of food at temperature without excessive running costs. At 47 kg, it's light enough to position and move during counter rearrangement or deep cleaning.
