Why this heat bulb earns its place
When a heat lamp above your food display goes dark or dims, a worn-out quartz bulb is usually the culprit. This is a direct-replacement unit: 200W, 240V, linear shape, 118 mm long. If your existing lamp fixture is designed for a standard linear infrared bulb, this will swap in to restore full heat output with minimal downtime.
Infrared lamps work differently from standard tungsten bulbs. These are low-pressure tungsten halogen lamps—they heat the food or merchandise directly in their path through radiant energy, rather than heating the surrounding air. That means the heat reaches your display quickly and doesn't waste energy warming the whole counter space. The result is focused, efficient heating where you need it.
At only 0.03 kg, the bulb itself is negligible weight—you'll be handling the fixture more than the bulb. Installation is straightforward if you're replacing an existing lamp: switch off power, allow the old bulb to cool if hot, unscrew and discard the old unit, screw in the new one, and restore power. Check that your fixture is rated for 200W at 240V before ordering—if your existing bulb was a different wattage, you'll need to match that instead.
