Why this food warmer earns its place
The Alto-Shaam CS-200/S is designed around a proven principle: heat from two directions keeps food warm without compromising quality. While many carving stations rely on lamps from above alone, this model adds gentle radiant warmth from below the carving surface—what Alto-Shaam calls Halo Heat—combined with ambient lamps from above. This dual approach prevents the moisture loss that comes from intense overhead heat, ideal for carveries where both presentation and food quality matter equally.
The integrated removable cutting board has a recessed juice channel, keeping the carving surface clear and the cutting process efficient during service. The footprint is modest at 660 mm wide and just 842 mm tall, making it a practical addition to any service counter. The 800W power draw is equally modest, running on a standard 230V outlet without demanding extra circuit capacity.
Adjustable heat control lets you dial in the right holding temperature for the meat you're serving—brisket, turkey or lamb all benefit from tailored warmth. The stainless steel construction is kitchen-proof and designed for daily cleaning; the silver finish resists visible soiling between services. With a one-year parts and labour warranty, it's a straightforward investment in consistent carving station service.
