Why this food warmer earns its place
The ScanBox Ergo Line ExP CC12 is a chilled transport trolley for cold food that needs to leave the kitchen in good order and arrive ready for service. It is designed for events, banquets and functions, but the smaller Ergo Line capacity also makes sense for satellite service, private dining, care settings and venues where a bigger trolley would be more than the job requires.
ScanBox states capacity for up to 12 full-size 1/1 GN trays, giving a tidy chilled load for prepared dishes, starters, desserts and buffet items. The temperature control display is positioned at the front top of the unit, so staff can see and use it without hunting around the side of the trolley. Precision-moulded PPE insulation helps protect food temperature and safety when the box is not plugged into power.
The interior is built for practical hygiene. Detachable U-shaped runners help with safe tray handling and cleaning access, and the anodised aluminium inner cavity is smooth, hygienic and fully sealed without welds or rivets. That matters in chilled service, where spills, condensation and repeated tray changes can make awkward corners a real nuisance.
