Why this ambient display earns its place
The CED Designline is a slimline ambient gantry built to light without heating. Three full-size Gastronorm containers sit at countertop level under a curved glass sneeze screen, with diffused overhead lighting that makes everything visible and appetising without cooking it. It's perfect for bread, pastries, cakes, sandwiches, cold salads, and anything else that needs to stay at room temperature.
At 1.15m long and just 377mm high, it's a tight fit that doesn't dominate the counter or block sight lines to the customer. The elliptical shape and curved glass are deliberately designed to look finished — this isn't industrial shelving, it's a display that sits professionally on a working bakery counter or café service line. The polished aluminium and steel construction gives it the same robust feel as more expensive equipment, and the glass screen protects the food from customer contact and ambient dust.
The whole unit draws just 100W — a light bulb's worth of power — so running costs are negligible and you can plug it into a standard circuit anywhere. Installation is straightforward: bolt it to the worktop using the fixing plates supplied, and you're done. The light switch is mounted at the end of the gantry for easy reach, and dishes are sold separately. This is the kind of display that stays on all day without thinking about it, and the customer can see what you're selling.
