Why this centre table earns its place
Step up from a compact prep station and you want a table that actually gives you room to work, and that's what the GJ501 is for. A 900mm-square footprint in polished 430-grade stainless steel — 900mm wide, 700mm deep — is enough surface for two people to prep alongside each other, or for one person to lay out a full mise en place without stacking boards on top of each other.
The build underneath is the same practical thinking as the rest of the range: a galvanised steel undershelf and legs carrying a second storage tier, and self-assembly construction so it arrives flat-packed and goes together on site rather than needing a fitter booked in for a table.
Castors and feet together mean you can wheel it out to clean the floor properly, then set it down level and solid for service — a real help on a kitchen floor that's rarely perfectly flat. At 23.2kg it's heavier than the smaller table in the range, as you'd expect from the extra steel, but still manageable for repositioning when the layout needs to change.
