THE WORKING VIEW

Why this commercial sink earns its place

Not every sink needs a fancy faucet. This Combisteel unit is a workhorse—reliable, easy to maintain, and lighter to install than you'd expect. At just 2 kg, it's a straightforward retrofit onto any sink basin where you need water on demand without complexity. The design is clean and durable; no gimmicks, just the flow you need when you need it.

Commercial kitchens run on simplicity. The fewer moving parts, the fewer things break during a rush. This faucet is built on that principle—sturdy construction that shrugs off the daily soak, splash, and scrub. It sits upright and functional, and it'll still be turning on water five years from now.

Whether you're replacing a worn-out tap or outfitting a new prep station, this faucet delivers the reliability Combisteel is known for. Quick to fit, quick to use, and quick to get out of your mind so you can focus on the kitchen.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions, answered straight

This is our core single-outlet model. It delivers hot and cold water through a standard mixer arrangement. If you need a spray head or specific lever type, ask Craven—we have variants, and many can be fitted without changing the base unit.

Standard kitchen supply pressure (2.0–3.0 bar) runs this faucet smoothly. Flow rate is adequate for rinsing plates and small equipment. If you're running it from a gravity-fed tank or low-pressure system, mention that when you order—Craven can advise on flow boosters if needed.

It can go on any basin as long as you have a hole for the mounting thread. Wall-mounted, deck-mounted, bench-mounted—wherever your plumbing allows. Your plumber will choose the right bracket style for your setup.

Unscrew the aerator from the tap outlet (usually by hand, occasionally needs a wrench). Rinse it clear under a tap, soak it in vinegar if lime scale has built up, and screw it back on. It's a five-minute job. Do this quarterly if you're in a hard-water area, or annually in soft-water regions.

Modern commercial faucets use ceramic discs; this Combisteel unit is built that way. Ceramic cartridges last longer and leak less than old rubber washers. If you ever need to replace it, spare parts are standard and available from Craven.

This is our standard manual faucet. If you want hands-free sensor operation, we sell dedicated sensor units that retrofit separately. Mix and match depends on your basin layout—your plumber can advise whether one of each makes sense for your kitchen workflow.
